Part of Philips Lighting with 2500 employees working in 8 plants in the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland. Sales amounted to € 300 million. Responsible for production, R&D and world wide sales of components.

Joint venture in China for light bulbs, compact fluorescent lamps, halogen lamps and HID lamps. Involved in the start up in 1994. In 2003, the Joint Venture had been up scaled to 2700 employees, 3 factories and € 90 million turnover.
